After completing her degree in Visual Art and Design in 2004, Caroline pursued a career as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator, working mostly within the advertising industry.
After attending a workshop on the techniques of the Old Masters, Caroline wanted to get back into painting more seriously – setting up a home studio and dedicating time every week to painting.
Caroline's painting documents contemporary life in New Zealand through the eyes of the feminine. She is influenced by the works of the old masters to the impressionists. She paints in a realistic style with a bold use of colour.
